David Barclay, former chief financial officer for DigniFi and Xevo, joined Esper as CFO.

Esper is a Seattle-based startup that sells software to remotely manage IoT devices. Founded in 2018, the startup aims to improve device management software solutions. It raised a $60 million Series C round in October.

Barclay will also serve as strategic advisor to Esper CEO Yadhu Gopalan.

“The company culture and commitment to DevOps innovation for device fleets perfectly complements my background and matches my passion for being part of high-growth startups,” Barclay said in a statement.
