Vineet Taneja, former general manager at Microsoft, joined fintech giant Brex as vice president of product.
Taneja worked at Microsoft in Seattle and India for more than 13 years in a variety of management roles, most recently leading product for Microsoft Viva, the tech giant’s employee experience platform. He was also senior director of product for Microsoft Teams from October 2016 to September 2020.
Founded in 2017, San Francisco-based Brex offers credit cards and other finance tools for businesses. Brex has 1,100 employees and raised $300 million in January at a $12.3 billion valuation.
“We look forward to leveraging Vineet’s immense experience in building products for enterprises that delight their main user base — employees,” a Brex spokesperson said in a statement to GeekWire.
Brex in January hired former Meta exec Karandeep Anand as chief product officer.
